Day 2: First Day of Diving – Banana Reef and Turtle Reef
- Early breakfast and departure to the first dive site of the day: Banana Reef. This famous site is known for its unique shape and abundant marine life.
- Diving at Banana Reef: Dive between colorful corals and a variety of tropical fish. Reef sharks are also common, and you’ll likely spot rays.
- Lunch on the island: Enjoy a light meal at the dive center or a local restaurant.
- Afternoon dive at Turtle Reef: This site is ideal for spotting sea turtles and, occasionally, sharks and rays. The vibrant coral gardens here are teeming with life.
- Free time in the evening: Relax on the island, enjoy a soothing massage, or take a walk along the beach.
Day 3: Diving at Guraidhoo Marine Reserve
- Morning dive: Start the day diving at the Guraidhoo Marine Reserve, a protected area home to rich biodiversity. You can encounter schools of fish, reef sharks, and, if you’re lucky, manta rays.
- Lunch on the island and relaxation time.
- Afternoon dive at a nearby reef: In the afternoon, do a more relaxed dive at a nearby reef, ideal for enjoying the calm waters and stunning marine scenery.
- Evening in Guraidhoo: Enjoy a traditional Maldivian dinner at a local restaurant and watch the sunset.
Day 4: Full-Day Diving – Manta Point and Reef Shark Dive
- Excursion to Manta Point: Today you’ll have the chance to dive at one of the Maldives’ most iconic dive sites, Manta Point. This site is famous for its manta ray encounters. Swimming alongside these majestic creatures is an unforgettable experience!
- Lunch on the boat: After a day of diving, enjoy lunch aboard the dive boat.
- Afternoon dive at Reef Shark Dive: Head to a site where you can observe reef sharks in their natural habitat, offering an exciting experience for shark lovers.
- Free time in the evening: Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the island or enjoying the local beaches.
Day 5: Night Diving and Exploration
- Morning dive: Explore the spectacular Kandooma Caves, a site with tunnels and rock formations, home to a diverse range of marine life such as schools of fish and reef sharks.
- Lunch on the island and rest.
- Night dive: Experience the underwater world after dark with a night dive at a nearby reef. The underwater life comes alive at night, and you may encounter nocturnal species like octopuses, moray eels, and rays.
- Dinner and relaxation on the island.
Day 6: Diving at Remote Sites – Banana Reef and Kandooma
- Morning dive at a remote site: Do a dive at one of the more distant sites from Guraidhoo, like Kandooma Reef, known for excellent visibility and diverse marine life, including sharks, rays, and turtles.
- Lunch on the island.
- Afternoon dive at Banana Reef: Take one more dive at Banana Reef to enjoy more marine life if you haven’t already done so.
- Free evening to explore the island or enjoy a special dinner on the beach.
Day 7: Last Day of Diving and Departure
- Morning snorkelling at a nearby site: For your final dive, choose a close-by site like Dhigurah Reef to enjoy a relaxing dive and say goodbye to the crystal-clear waters.
- Lunch and free time: Return to the dive center for lunch and use the remaining hours to explore the island or do some souvenir shopping.
- Transfer to the airport: In the afternoon, take a boat back to Malé to catch your departing flight.
