To book the trip, the first thing to do is to contact us through the form that we indicate in the specific page of each trip. Once we have sent you the detailed presentations, and we have confirmed that there are still places available for that specific date, you will buy the recommended airline ticket. From that point on, you have your place reserved. Once we have the whole group closed, we will make a Whatsapp group with everyone and we will tell you the next steps.
Depending on the package chosen. There is the option that the price includes flights and accommodation or that the flight is paid by the traveler. We recommend taking the flight that we indicate in the planning. This way you will have the private boat from the airport to the first island covered. The whole group will arrive at the same time and we will all board the boat. (In case you take a flight with a very different schedule, no problem! We will arrange a boat to the island for the price of 25$. )
Yes, what we just mentioned. The only thing we would not cover is if you take different flights that do not fit the schedules of the private boat that the whole group has booked. Still, that would not be a problem. We work with a company that would take you to our island for $25.00.
No. Those who have the Open Water will dive and for those who have no previous experience can do a Try Dive or snorkeling excursions on reefs. Both options are included (although I personally recommend if you have the opportunity, to take the Open Water).
If you are certified in diving you will know that you always need a diving insurance to do the activity. I recommend AXA or DAN diving insurance. You can take the one day insurance which is about 6€. Or a month, or even a week. (Our recommended travel insurance IATI also covers dive insurance.) You can also take out a dive insurance.
No vaccinations are mandatory for travel to the Maldives. We do recommend getting vaccinated for yellow fever and bringing mosquito repellent for the evenings.
Yes, passports must be new. They must be more than six months past the expiration date.
Yes, all the snorkeling and diving equipment for the activities is included. We give you every day, mask, fins and bottle, weights, regulators.... On the boats we also provide food, fruit and water. (The day of the snorkeling is also included neoprene and all the snorkeling equipment).
The climate in the Maldives is totally summer all year round. You live in flip-flops. That is to say, it is not necessary to bring absolutely nothing of coat. It is very hot. So, at most, a long-sleeved shirt in case it rains one day and it cools down a bit.
To come to the Maldives or Thailand is always a good time. It is warm all year round and the marine life is always there. Consult privately for each destination.
Regarding the rains, since this strong climate change has started, nothing can be predicted. Before, the stormy season was May and June, but these last three years have been the best months. Not a drop of rain, the sea like a raft, literally like a plate! and the best visibility. However, October and November, which were two of the best months, have been a disaster, it has rained a lot! Windy and poor visibility.
My recommendation is to let yourself go and adapt. If it rains, it is tropical rain that lasts a short time. You have to be lucky and have a good attitude for what may happen.
